The Beach Party/BBQ Starts at 2pm.

here's some information you'll need to make the most of your evening. This may seem like a lot of info, but we want to make sure that everyone is well informed on what is allowed and not allowed at this party.

Location
we will reserve 2 fire pits south of Huntington Beach Pier. Exact location will be provided upon RSVP. To access this part of the beach, please enter on First St at PCH. There will be about 1/4 mile south of the Huntington Beach Pier.

Hours
please feel free to arrive anytime after noon and enjoy a beautiful day at the beach. Bring your surfboard, body board, bicycle, Volleyball, etc.... (There are 2 Volleyball courts next to our area).

We will start the bon-fire at around 7:30ish.

Fireworks starts at 9:00
the beach closes at 10:00pm.

***Parking - PLEASE PLAN AHEAD***
Please park in the public parking lot at the beach. Located on Huntington or First Street on PCH.
The parking will fill up fast, so we suggest that you arrive early for the best parking. If beach parking is full, please park at the public parking structure on 2nd Street. and walnut.
If this parking is full, please park in the parking structure on 5th and PCH.
The earlier you arrive, the easier the parking. H.B. celebrates the 4th in a HUGE way. The H.B. parade starts at 10am and ends at around noon. Parking will open up after the parade at about 12:30ish.

Dress
Ladies, RED, WHITE & BLUE Beach Attire Please!
If you are going to wear a thong, please bring a wrap or shorts. The size of our group WILL attract the attention of the lifeguards and beach patrol. We do not need any additional red flags to attract attention our way.

Alcohol *** VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY***
Alcohol is NOT allowed on any beach in Orange County. A little common sense and planning will prevent any potential problems. Please follow these recommendations closely. (We have had many parties at this beach and have never been cited for Alcohol on the beach.)
1. Vodka is the Best type of liquor to disguise. Vodka is difficult to detect when mixed with soda, Gatorade, juice or your favorite energy drink. Beer is the most difficult to disguise and is Easily detectable. PLEASE DO NOT BRING BEER TO THIS PARTY! There are plenty of local bars walking distance if you really need a beer.
2. Absolutely no glass bottles or containers.
3. Absolutely no liquor bottles or containers.
4. Bring alcohol at your own risk. You MUST disguise your liquor. Here's what works...
a. Purchase plastic bottles of your favorite soda.
b. Before arriving to the party, empty enough of the soda and replace it with your favorite spirit. (i.e., Jack & Coke, Vodka & 7Up, Rum & Coke, Evian water bottle with straight vodka, etc...)
c. No Plastic Cups. Plastic cups are a sure sign of mixed drinks, especially in a large crowd of all adults.
5. Please bring your own cooler to keep your drinks cold.

RV Owners
Do you own an RV? If you do, please feel free to bring it! Having an RV nearby would help with the cocktail situation. Maybe even a little play area?? (Of course, you're RV, your rules). Call us and let us know if you are bringing an RV and we'll try our best to reserve parking for you. (714) 496-8446

Firewood
Got wood? Bring it! Email us and let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Food
We are planning doing a little BBQ...Please bring something to throw on the Barbie if you'd like! There are also plenty of nearby restaurants within waling distance.

Music
We have a pretty decent outdoor sound system. Feel free to bring your IPOD if there is something specific you think the group will enjoy.

EZ Ups/Canopy
Have an EZ Up or other type of Canopy? Please bring it! We would like to set up a U-shape area using the canopies to define the borders of our party. The more privacy, the better!

Misc.
Don't forget your beach chair and/or beach towel. Bring warm clothes to wear at sundown. It does cool down quite a bit in the evening. Bring Oil & Sunscreen.

Adults Only Please
Even though this is a beach party at a public beach, we kindly ask you to keep the kids at home, as this is an adult-only beach party.

A bunch of us already have rooms at the Fitzgerald's in down town Las Vegas and we will be bar hoping and taking rides throughout the weekend! We are all heading up on Thursday, You can either meet at Freedom Acres by 9:00am when T and L roll through, or you can meet in Hesperia at Main and the 15 freeway at Bobs big boy by 10:00am (there is a shell across the freeway for anyone wanting to fill before leaving)

We will be looking for anyone coming up in a car to hopefully allow our members to put their stuff in their cars or trucks, if you are, please email us at tomandbunny@yahoo.com so we can help make arrangements for people.
